Title: Manufacturing & Engineering (M&E) IT Business Systems Specialist

Salary: $85,000 - $128,000
Schedule: Flexible schedule available of up to 2 days remote per week
Focus: The Manufacturing & Engineering (M&E) IT Business Systems Specialist will primarily focus on supporting the Engineering and Quality application disciplines supporting the global M&E business and IT organizations. This role is responsible for developing and managing projects executed within the team as well as enhancing and maintaining support processes. Responsibilities include working with the business and IT teams to identify value-added solutions, define requirements, lead the implementation of changes to applications, systems, related support processes, and document the solution.
M&E IT Business Systems Specialist Essential Job Functions:
- Manage project activities for small to mid-sized projects including budgeting, procurement, task management, resource assignments, communication, and overall project rollout activities
- Maintain relationships and coordinate resources from multiple IT disciplines, users, consultants, and vendors
- Identify and recommend potential solutions, including AI or other advanced technologies, that provide value to the business; work with businesses as appropriate to define requirements and process changes
- Manage and track changes to requirements and facilitate business unit sign-off; coordinate user acceptance testing and training on solutions
- Analyze a variety of work processes, technologies and solutions to provide strategic recommendations to leadership while ensuring alignment to architecture and security standards
- Participate in troubleshooting and support processes with others on the team for related applications and systems including working with end users directly or within Olin's ticketing system
- Recommend and implement applications support processes and performance improvements, working closely with Infrastructure, Database, and Security teams
M&E IT Business Systems Specialist Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree*; Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related degree preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of related information systems project management or business analysis experience; 10+ years of experience preferred
- Prior relevant experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Progressive experience in several areas of M&E information or operational technologies, with a focus on application and system support and architecture; Demonstrated ability to learn new software & IT concepts
- Demonstrated working knowledge of IT Infrastructure technologies such as Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, networking, and of IT Security technologies such as firewalls and malware prevention preferred
- Demonstrated working knowledge of M&E applications in the engineering or quality disciplines preferred. Examples include: SmartPlant, SampleManager LIMS, AutoCAD, NWA Quality Analyst, Splunk, Aspen Engineering and/or other related applications
- Knowledge of the complete data stack starting with the ERP system and moving down to the DCS/PLC systems preferred
- Must be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
