Location: Plumsteadville, PA (SGHCLS) - Healthcare - TGM - Therapeutics How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? Job Summary: This position will be responsible for supporting all plant management functions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, effective utilization of resources and maintaining safe working conditions in accordance with company policies and procedures. The APM provides assistance to the Plant Manager on various administrative tasks including preparation of reports and correspondence.* Operate the facility in compliance with all governmental regulations and Air Liquide, Airgas and Airgas Therapeutics policies. * Maintain necessary licenses and permits. * Provide regulatory training and maintain documentation. * Report and investigate incidents and ensure corrective actions are complete. * Ensure that all performance evaluations, hiring, promotions and assignments are free of any form of discrimination. * Meet or exceed company safety standards. * Make plant and process decisions and perform process troubleshooting. Establish clear delegation of authority to trained subordinates. * Foster positive customer relationships. * Deliver the quality and quantity of product required by the business. * Set and maintain housekeeping standards to exemplify the company image. * Keep plant hazard analysis current and display thorough knowledge of possible hazards and associated safeguards. * Adhere to Management of Change procedure. * Model exemplary safety behavior, lead by personal example. * Work to achieve "Zero Accidents" by taking a leadership role in safety. * Conduct an annual performance review with direct reports. * Implement individual development plans for direct reports annually and provide training and coaching to improve performance. * Provide candid constructive input to management decisions and actively support those decisions. * Maintain adherence to administrative and operational policies and procedures. * Understand, monitor and optimize operating costs within authorized budget. * Identify and implement opportunities to reduce costs within delegated authorization. * Control overtime within established limits. * Continuously improve efficiency and availability indicators. * Utilize national purchasing agreements and frame agreements. * Assist Product/Process Development with the design, creation and implementation of manufacturing process improvements * Meet or exceed customer supply chain requirement * Complete defined Airgas Safecor inspection items. * Maintain a clean, organized and safe environment. * Complete all training activities successfully and on time. Skill Set/Knowledge/Expertise: * Technical and working understanding of the specialty gas plant process * Familiarity with regulatory requirements for operating plants, including Process Safety Management, OSHA regulations, EPA regulations, EEOC guidelines, FDA regulations (where applicable), state and local requirements. * Participate in root cause analysis investigations. * Computer literacy * Able to deliver and explain training material to operating personnel. * Extremely organized and effective at time management - able to establish and maintain a plant filing system and control of engineering documents. Ability to read and red-line key operating documents. * Display mechanical and electrical aptitude for equipment operation and troubleshooting. * Excellent communication and team leadership skills. * General understanding of accounting principles and working knowledge of plant operating budget. ________________________ Are you a MATCH?* Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. ________________________ We care about and support our Airgas Families.
