Location Jacksonville, FL

Overview

The Rates Trade Support team support the Rates Desk, covering the Treasury market across all legal entities. The team has daily interaction with various teams including trading, sales, finance and other ops group. They are responsible for day-to-day desk coverage, trade booking, trade amendments and break resolution. The Rates TA's provide services for the Fed Auction which includes inputting house and customer bids in the TAAPS system and are monitored by Audit and Compliance. They are responsible for the documentation related to every Auction that Deutsche Bank is participating in.

What You'll Do

  • Communicate with the trading desk on daily basis to ensure proper trade bookings are accurate and trade flow is complete and create delivery of reports highlighting daily position and End Of Day pricing breaks

  • Monitor trades to ensure that trading and sales trades match on economics and perform Trade amendments/Booking on behalf of trading due to limitation in systems and applications

  • Responsible for investigation, commentary, and resolution on fails, Intercompany breaks, and all pending trades with-in a timely manner

  • Provide various metrics on a daily/weekly basis

  • Daily input of commentary for control standards

  • Monitoring of TRACE and static data maintenance in front end systems

Skills You'll Need

  • Strong, market /regulatory knowledge and appropriate escalation awareness

  • Fed Auction Disaster Recovery testing and communication with the Fed

  • Support of Muni Trading and reporting

  • Maintain team's procedures / Business Continuity Management document

  • Liaise with team on Life Cycle Management around Cash Fixed Income trades

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Candidate must be able to work in a high pressure environment due to the fact that a significant portion of the transactions are processed and settle real time, on-line with critical dead-line

  • Strong analytical skills: ability to utilize different techniques to resolve problems

  • Excellent technical skills: Candidate must be proficient in PC desk-top applications; i.e., Microsoft office suite Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Access

  • Excellent Interpersonal skills: Candidate must have excellent communication/oral skills and interact well with other team members; i.e., Clients, Sales, Trading, Ops, Bookrunners, Information Technology (IT) counterparts in other back/middle office ops teams, Legal, Compliance, Business managers, etc

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville is $48,000 to $68,800.Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
