Position Summary
The College of Medicine is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated student worker to assist with website maintenance and support. This position provides hands-on experience working in a professional web environment and supporting the digital needs of faculty and staff across the College.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in updating and maintaining College of Medicine websites using WordPress, the designated content management system (CMS)
  • Monitor and respond to web support tickets, providing timely assistance to faculty and staff
  • Address and help resolve website accessibility issues to ensure compliance with university and federal standards
  • Collaborate with the web team to maintain consistent and accurate content across websites
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.


  • Minimum Qualifications

    • Preferred undergraduate degrees: Computer Science, Engineering, or Marketing. Candidates with other degrees may also be considered if they have equivalent experience in website development.
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to learn new tools and processes quickly
    • Able to follow detailed instructions and complete tasks independently
    • Good communication and organizational skills
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Prior experience with website content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal)
    • Basic knowledge of HTML and web accessibility standards
    • Understanding of website best practices including responsive design and usability


    Work Schedule: 10-15 hours per week (flexible schedule during business hours)

    Location: Primarily remote with occasional on-campus meetings (if applicable)
