REQUIRED COMPETENCIES, QUALIFICATIONS, AND BASIC SKILL LEVELS:

* High School education supplemented by a on-the-job training program, including outside training.

* High School education or equivalent prior work experience for position and supplemented by basic training on Laser cutting equipment

* General knowledge in shop practices and techniques

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:* Operation of laser cutting machine to cut single or multiple pieces from sheet and plate stock, etc.

* Make minor adjustments as needed.

* Use a variety of precision measuring instruments.

* Work is subject to procedures relating to your department.

* Other duties as instructed or directed by direct supervisor.
