Microsoft's Marketing Experiences & Engines team is looking for a Creative Copywriter to help us shape the voice of our Commercial Marketing campaigns. You'll craft standout copy across our advertising campaigns and other touchpoints, reaching our key customers. This role sits within our Copy Studio, a team of talented writers and editors who bring business scenarios to life through compelling storytelling, real-world context, and a laser focus on the benefits to our customers. ResponsibilitiesWrite high-impact copy that connects emotionally and drives engagement and acquisition across formats-manifestos, video scripts, ad copy, landing pages, web headlines, and moreDrive content across the funnel-defining copy structures, hierarchy, and content flowsLead A/B testing and performance optimization to learn what drives engagement and conversionCollaborate with channel leads to create copy that performs across digital touchpoints, such as web, social, display, and blogUnderstand and adapt to key audiences-Business Decision Makers (BDMs), Security Decision Makers, and Developers-ensuring every word lands with relevanceTrain and fine-tune AI models to generate and scale on-brand copyChampion our tone of voice and accessibility standards across every deliverable Have experience writing for and engaging enterprise audiencesKnow how to shift tone and approach for different personas-whether that's a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Chief Information Officer (CIO), or developerCan concept and write a powerful manifesto and optimize a five-word headline for click-through rate (CTR)Embrace experimentation-test, learn, and iterate to drive performanceAre curious about generative AI and are ready to embrace it to scale creativityThrive in cross-functional environments, collaborate with ease across teams, and feel energized by live writing in writers' roomsEmbody our Culture and Values
