DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Regulatory Enforcement Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting businesses that are licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to determine compliance with the laws, rules, and regulations regarding professional and occupational licensing. Work involves traveling to assigned sites to conduct inspections of all affected professions and occupations, documenting any deviation from established standards, and preparing reports to communicate findings. Within this role, you will be required to issue citations for violations as necessary, in addition to providing expert testimony at formal and informal hearings. These inspections assure public safety of all persons who utilize Pennsylvania's licensed businesses, as well as ensure that business owners and their employees possess the appropriate licensures. - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Three years of experience involving interpersonal public contact and inspecting for compliance with rules and regulations and reporting related facts; or
- An Associate's Degree and one year of experience involving interpersonal public contact and inspecting for compliance with rules and regulations and reporting related facts; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which included one year of experience involving interpersonal public contact and inspecting for compliance with rules and regulations and reporting related facts.
Other Requirements:
- This particular position also requires a valid driver's license which is not under suspension.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
