The People Coordinator, Revenue & Content will support Conde Nast's Revenue and Content departments by assisting with the delivery of people initiatives, programs, and processes that help drive business results while enhancing company culture. Under the guidance of the SVP, People Business Partner - Revenue & Content, the HR Coordinator will work across internal client groups and will assist with delivering operational, strategic and consultative partnership across the globe. The ideal candidate will be willing and able to roll up their sleeves and problem-solve anything that comes their way. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist Revenue and Content People Partners with the implementation of various people programs and the timely resolution of a wide range of employee relations matters.

  • Build credibility, trust, and positive working relationships with employees across the organization.

  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions, using sound judgment in responding to questions accurately, while collaborating with HR COE's on matters such as benefits or leaves of absence, and escalating issues as needed to senior people partners.

  • Support People Business Partners and managers in navigating a unionized workforce.

  • Own full-cycle employee onboarding and offboarding for the US - assist employees with all new hire and departure logistics, conduct new hire check-ins and exit interviews, partner with line managers to ensure seamless transitions, and report key metrics and qualitative themes.

  • Process data changes such as promotions, terminations, job requisitions, and any other Workday transactions.

  • Use strong understanding CN's global business model to maintain accurate global data records for each division including headcount/workforce planning reports and org charts. Use data records to support key projects such as turnover, job architecture, performance reviews, engagement survey, etc.

  • Partner with shared services and have a consistent eye on process improvements and efficiencies

  • Work collaboratively and effectively across the organizational matrix, especially with other people and business functions including Talent Acquisition, Labor Relations, HR Operations, Legal, Finance, and Local Market HR teams.

  • Contribute to global engagement efforts by coordinating and executing monthly and quarterly activities through in-person meetings, Zoom sessions, and email communications.

  • Manage the preparation of people data in order to produce reports on a regular or ad hoc basis for people related initiatives to analyse trends and highlight improvement opportunities to business stakeholders and People team.

DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Undergraduate degree and 1-2 preferred years prior experience in human resources

  • Tech savvy with strong knowledge/experience in Workday HRIS, Word/Powerpoint/Excel, and corresponding G-Suite applications (and/or ability to learn new technologies very quickly)

  • Agility to support and champion organizational and project changes

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-starter, proactive, resourceful, and solutions oriented

  • Ability to see a task through to completion and conduct appropriate follow-ups to move and progress initiatives forward

  • Process and detail oriented, including strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills - ability to multi-task and work well under time constraints in a fast paced environment

  • Highly collaborative and comfortable navigating inputs from multiple stakeholders across a globally matrixed organization

  • Strong EQ with ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion

  • Prior experience managing a high volume of people data, with an analytical mindset is a plus

  • Previous experience in the media/entertainment industry and/or at a global organization is a plus

Salary Range: $69,000 - $80,000
