Department:YouthBuild ProgramDepartment's Website: Summary of Job Duties:The part-time Construction Trainer will assist in teaching construction skills that include demolition, rough framing, roofing, drywall, finish carpentry, sheet metal, electrical, plumbing, painting, and masonry. Will perform personal and vocational counseling, development leadership skills, evaluate participants' knowledge and skills in construction, and participate in the development of project-based curriculum that includes construction. Will be responsible for the construction site, maintaining production safety, and interfacing with subcontractors and inspectors. Will be teaching the proper use and handling of trade tools and equipment. Will be responsible for all tools and equipment used on job sites each day and will serve as a mentor to YouthBuild participants. Qualifications:
