Job Description:

Develop and sustain software to process Digital Network Intelligence (DNI) traffic.

The Level 3 Technical Expert shall possess the following capabilities:

  • Develop C++ or Java applications in a Red Hat/Fedora/CentOs environment.
  • Support a broad range of systems integration and design tasks.
  • Interface the customer's systems with other Government systems and will be required to work collaboratively with counterpart personnel.
  • Debug high-performance/parallel applications and libraries in a wide range of deployment scenarios ranging from a single development virtual machine to an operational cluster of bare-metal servers to a vendor-supplied cloud environment. Must be able to use the full-suite of language specific diagnostic tools and analyze software telemetry to isolate design or datadependent bugs and to optimize 1/0 and CPU resources.
  • Write high performance and parallel C++ or Java solutions.
  • Recommend system engineering and application development solutions, and develop software solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • GUI development tasks specifically using Java, Javascript, Sencha ExtJs, Spring, and MySQL.
  • Manage, debug, and optimize large multithread, micro service-based applications running on Apache Tomcat (consuming >30G of RAM).
  • Use best usability design practices according to the Nielson Norman Group or other Human Factors Engineering leaders.

Qualifications:

  • Fifteen (15) years demonstrated experience in designing and developing systems
  • Ten (10) years of demonstrated experience with practical skills at one of the following: MySQL use and programming; or
  • Debugging of multithreaded C++ or Java applications and libraries using diagnostic tools such as GOB, V algrind, mytop, perf, and pprof.

Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph

Pay Range: 215,000-271,000
