Using a set standard operating procedure with specific instructions, our operators use vacuum tools to deposit films as part of the production of high-powered lasers.

Duties:



  • Operate vacuum tools to deposit films with close attention to detail according to specified operating procedures.
  • Judge defects based on set criteria.
  • Prepare materials for production by following set procedure.
  • Maintain records about the process as directed.

Requirements

  • Arm-hand steadiness with hand-eye coordination and fine motor control.
  • Comfortable working with small, fragile parts.
  • Work in a cleanroom environment
  • Ability to differentiate colors.
  • Must have good communication skills and be able to understand and follow verbal and written work instructions.
  • Regular and reliable attendance and the ability to work overtime.
  • Must be present and on time for work as scheduled
  • Be able to work carefully, consistently, and be able to identify errors
  • Familiarity with PCs, Microsoft Windows, and basic Microsoft Excel
