WHAT YOU GET TO DO

• Support operations in becoming World Class in all aspects of the business, beginning with Safety.
• Prioritize need for ink on all presses at beginning and during each shift
• Obtain the color folders/ink formula sheets from job jackets
• Identify, report, and correct any problem formulas
• Keep ink room clean, clean up all spills and keep all buckets and barrels in proper storage
• Follow all plant and departmental safety rules and procedures
• Safely blend ink for the press in the most efficient manner possible, while making sure that the color is within specified tolerances
• Ensure all appropriate paperwork if filled out accurately and completely. This includes, but is not limited to; production reports, ink usage sheets, QA reports and all others as assigned..
• While also knowing and understanding the role in product safety.
• Comply with all 5S and WCM initiatives (Cross Training, moving to the work)
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor or management

Shift: 12 hour 2-2-3 night shift position (5pm-5am)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift up to 50-60 lbs
• Willing and able to stand and walk for an 8/12 hour shift
• Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting
• Frequent use of wrist and hands
• Frequent stepping up and down from platforms

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU

• Previous manufacturing experience
• Knowledgeable and able to understand a computer and programs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills
• Required to have visual acuity to perform visual inspection including the use of measurement devices and ability to identify and distinguish colors
• Ability to interact effectively and professionally with others in a team environment
