Military and Veteran Student Success: The Office of Military and Veteran Student Success, a unit within the Department of Access and Community Engagement, is dedicated to providing student veterans and military-connected students with an enriching and inclusive environment. The office works with university and community partners to provide a student experience that allows student veterans and military-connected students to achieve educational and career goals through academic success and community partnerships. The Opportunity: UCF's Military and Veteran Student Success seeks applicants for a brand-new role as a Student Resource Specialist II at Patrick Space Force Base. The Student Resource Specialist II will serve as the UCF representative to the Patrick Space Force Base (PFSB) Education and Training Section (ET&S) responsible for assisting students with their benefits, eligibility requirements, and reaching their educational goals. This position provides assistance to military students through advisement sessions, appointments, and workshops. This position is fully onsite at Patrick Space Force Base. Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Click here for more information Preferred Qualifications:
Special Instructions to the Applicants: Applicant must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer, as sponsorship is not available for this position. The selected candidate must complete a Level II background clearance and all eligibility requirements to access a Department of Defense installation.
