Reporting to the Controller, the Cost Accountant is responsible for analyzing and managing production costs to ensure operational efficiency and financial profitability. The Cost Accountant will monitor and report on costs related to materials, labor, and overhead, providing detailed variance analysis and insights for decision-making. This role also involves maintaining accurate inventory valuations, preparing budgets, and supporting cost-saving initiatives. The Cost Accountant will collaborate across teams to optimize processes and ensures compliance with internal controls and financial regulations. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
EDUCATION: BS/BA in Accounting or Finance. EXPERIENCE:
