As an IT Project Manager, you will play a key role in enabling our team to be at its best in creating and delivering value to the company through the execution of information technology projects.

Job Responsibilities
  • Support project intake, evaluation, and selection of new projects.
  • Define, schedule, manage, and track project expectations, responsibilities, scope, timelines, milestones, and tasks for assigned projects in collaboration with teams, stakeholders, and leaders.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies, maintain critical path objectives, analyze results, identify problem areas, and devise contingency plans.
  • Effectively communicate project developments and status to team members and stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership and project team members to develop and submit project budget proposals and updates for senior-level management.
  • Prepare and maintain complete and accurate project documentation, notes, and artifacts.
  • Assist in identifying project participants and performing resource planning to achieve objectives.
  • Manage project closeout and turnover, including final documentation and lessons learned actions.
  • Develop and maintain positive business relationships at a project, department, and company level.
  • Collaborate with project delivery teams to continuously improve tools, frameworks, and documentation for project execution and management.
  • Teach and mentor team members and stakeholders in project management techniques and topics.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business management, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of the Project Management Body of Knowledge, with Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate Project Management (CAPM) or related credentials and certification desired.
  • 5+ years applicable work experience in project management, including IT project delivery.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude with a strong, can-do, service focus.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, analytical problem solver.
  • Flexible, adaptable, proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and in collaboration with others in a cross-functional environment.
  • Ability to persuade, motivate, and maintain positive engagement of project team, stakeholders, and IT across multiple projects and over long project timelines.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and visual communications skills.
  • Balance expectations and facilitate within and between the project team and stakeholders to reach planned objectives.
  • Experience with technical writing, including the ability to understand a business problem, draft requirements, and translate them into executable tasks.
  • Experience with various project sizes and complexities, managing several projects at the same time, using differing approaches, such as agile and waterfall, based on need.
  • Competence in the use of Project Management software platforms, MS Teams, Office 365, and MS Azure DevOps is helpful.
  • Quick study in researching and building working knowledge of new technologies sufficient to guide related projects.
  • Strong ability to work with technical teams to elicit, develop, and document project plans.
