Description and Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

1. E2E lifecycle mgmt. towards Motorola smartphone SW experience throughout planning, executing, product launching, and upgrading. To qualify the role, one is expected to have deep understanding about the needs and preferences of end users in the global market, guide the development of technical solutions and market trends, plan and design innovative software experiences, organize relevant teams to conduct demand analysis, architecture design, development and implementation, testing and verification activities for new software functions, lead the team to complete the implementation of new functions, enhance product competitiveness and user experience.

2. Smartphone software requirement management:

Participate in activities of the global software product team, follow the software planning process, focus on user needs, conduct experience upgrades, use various methods to explore specification improvements and ultimately confirm the scope of software requirements, track function integration, issues, and requirement changes, and ensure smooth delivery of software experience.

3. Keep close track of the development trends of various software experiences in the industry, the emergence of innovative technological solutions, continuous iterative planning for functional experiences, and continuous improvement of products.

4. Champion the full-chain-design concept, "design for end users, design for marketing, and design for retail" into every action.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or above.
  • 5+ years of experience in software product management, preferably in the Smartphone industry
  • 3+ years of experience in AI SW product management experience, with strong product understanding, data organization and analysis skills, product management skills, and project promotion abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong learning capability, strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation, strong communication skills and willing to accept challenges.
  • Proficient in using Google Drive and Windows Office sets, proficient in writing PRD documents for product definition, familiar with product prototype interaction design.

The base salary budgeted range for this position is $135k - 165K. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission.
