Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC) located in scenic Upstate NY is a multi-campus College with locations in Troy and Malta New York. Department: Biology and Chemistry Instructor - Biology/Chemistry HV-FAC-8891 There are four Full Time Probationary positions available. Minimum Qualifications: Master's Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or closely related biological or chemical discipline, in order to teach General Biology, Microbiology, Human Genetics, Biochemistry, Forensics, and/or Chemistry courses. Applicants for this position should have two years of successful classroom and laboratory teaching experience at the college level in the above areas, as well as experience with integration of technology in the classroom/lab. Research experience is desirable and previous experience and/or desire to engage in distance learning initiatives is preferred. Demonstrated success of student tutoring and/or resource room experience is preferred, along with experience using the D2L Brightspace learning management system. Duties and Responsibilities: The Salary for this FT Probationary academic year position is $52,500.00.
