Job Summary
-
The Loudoun County Health Department is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to the Health Director. Successful candidates should be resourceful, self-motivated, well-organized, possess great time management skills, exhibit a willingness to work in a team environment, and problem solve independently.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
* Performs complex and confidential administrative support duties to support the Health Director. * Manage the Health Director's calendar, scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements; prepare and distribute meeting agendas and related materials. * Coordinate logistics for meetings, including those related to departmental activities and the Board of Supervisors' initiatives, and take meeting minutes when necessary. * Acts as a liaison between the executive and staff, and may interact with elected and appointed officials, external organizations, and the public * Ensure the timely and accurate flow of information across all channels. * Assist with drafting, editing, and preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations. * Conduct research and manage special projects as needed to support the Health Director's priorities.
This position is eligible for a hybrid telework schedule in accordance with the County's telework policy.

Minimum Qualifications
-
High School diploma or equivalent; five (5) years of related clerical/administrative work experience with computer automated systems and office applications experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred: Prior experience as an executive assistant is preferred. Demonstrated skills in Microsoft 365 Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Word) and Adobe Sign or DocuSign.
