Short Intro and About the Job

The Key Account Manager will drive sales to grow Danone's business within Target. This position will support the Beverages and Plant Based businesses. This person will understand customer business needs and build short and long-term strategies that support BU objectives while achieving company sales targets and financial expectations. This individual will lead, communicate, and coordinate with Target buyers across multiple categories and internal cross-functional teams to accomplish the customer plan.

This individual will approach the business with a high passion for execution and action with detailed business development and business management strategies. They should have a strong skillset in developing relationships, communication, motivating others, and working cross-functionally that leads to a better overall team dynamic. This individual has experience in building business plans, requiring net sales, volume and trade planning forecasting, by working with technologies such as Power BI, KANTAR, IRI, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.

You Will:

    Grow Danone's sales and share across Beverages RTD, Plant Based Aseptic and Frozen
  • Build short-term and long-term strategy plans to achieve net sales goals
  • Develop Target strategies & priorities that are aligned to Danone's big bets and BU sales targets
  • Communicate in a timely fashion both written and verbally with customer and internal stakeholders, ensuring that both good news and bad news is shared with equal level of detail

You will be accountable for:

  • Achieving net sales targets, trade targets, POS & share targets
  • Proactively analyze potential problems to avoid emergency situations
  • Lead business planning efforts through frequent connectivity and alignment with the sales finance team, ensuring trade and volume is properly planned for and secured
  • Work within Power BI, KANTAR, IRI, MS excel, MicroStrategy and MS PowerPoint systems to plan business appropriately
  • Present and create line review presentations across various businesses

The base compensation range for this position is $75,000 $105,000-commensurate with experience. About You

  • Bachelor's Degree required, communications or business-related major preferred
  • 1-3 years of CPG experience with a strong knowledge of retail and business management
  • Fluent Microsoft Excel with an ability to interpret P&Ls as well as other financial statements, and experience building offline planning tools to track sales on a weekly cadence
  • Experience working cross-functionally and leadership of non-direct reports
  • Ability to travel 10-15% of the time
