Position: Educator - Academy CLTFC Department: Academy Reporting Relationship: Reports to Manager - Education & Player Welfare Status: Full-time About Charlotte FC Charlotte FC played its inaugural season in Major League Soccer in 2022. The club set a MLS attendance record in its opening game with over 74,000 spectators in Bank of America Stadium and has been at the top of MLS in attendance throughout its first three seasons. The club has a fully funded academy (ages 13-19) that is tasked with identifying and developing elite young players from across the Carolinas and beyond for professional careers in Major League Soccer (MLS). Position Summary The Charlotte Football Club Academy would like to hire a full-time teacher whose primary responsibility will be to providing academic support to academy players across a variety of science and math disciplines. Charlotte FC Academy players have dedicated academic time where they are learning on an online/virtual platform during the school day. This position will be expected to work with students individually or in small groups of 3 to 5. The "day-stay" program encompasses approximately 60 students ranging in age from 14 to 18 years of age.
