Job Summary The LIMS Supervisor ensures that LIMS configuration and maintenance work meets established and expected quality, regulatory, and customer requirements. The LIMS Supervisor works closely with various Quality Control laboratories and Quality Assurance to ensure compliance with GLP and GMP requirements. The LIMS supervisor will supervise a staff of professionals at a single location. This position requires working onsite at one the following facilities: Lake Zurich, IL; Melrose Park, IL; Grand Island, NY; or Wilson, NC. Base salary range: $95,000-$120,000. Position is eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan with a target of 6% of the base salary. Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Responsibilities Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the LIMS. Supervise daily activities of site personnel assigned to the LIMS team. Support compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all daily LIMS-related activities. Support adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for LIMS staff and system users. Coordinate with IT and laboratory staff to troubleshoot and resolve LIMS-related issues. Provide training and support users with LIMS functionalities and best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize laboratory processes and integrate LIMS with other laboratory equipment. Develop and foster ongoing relationships with critical stakeholders throughout the company to understand the needs of the business and implement solutions. Assist with the configuration of Fresenius Kabi LIMS. Responsible for adhering to an established budget set by management. Assist with the change management of LIMS and oversee data entry for site specific static data. Ensure adherence to the LIMS User Requirement Specification and Design Qualification Oversee the training of the system end-users and facilitate usage of the system. Investigate deviations from procedures. Assist other Fresenius Kabi sites with their implementation efforts and sharing best practices. Job Requirements* Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline; chemistry or biology preferred 5+ years of experience in a scientifically related industry; pharmaceutical preferred Demonstrated understanding of Quality Systems Strong background in Laboratory informatics and data systems Strong knowledge of cGMP, GLP, USP, and GAMP Developed skills in written and verbal interpersonal communication and organization Good techniques for analytical evaluation, problem solving and multitasking Previous experience in supervisor role a plus.
