Job Description:

Microchip is seeking a motivated intern to join our Wireless Applications Engineering team. This internship offers a unique opportunity for a junior or senior student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering to gain hands-on experience in microcontroller-based embedded systems development. You will work alongside experienced engineers contributing to real-world projects and gain valuable insights into several wireless technologies like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Matter and others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of wireless applications and embedded systems.

  • Collaborate with engineers to implement and troubleshoot microcontroller-based solutions.

  • Utilize lab tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes to conduct experiments and gather data.

  • Document test results and provide feedback to the engineering team.

  • Support the development of technical documentation and user manuals.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled as a junior or senior student in a BSEE or BSCE program.

  • Familiarity with microcontroller-based embedded systems development.

  • Proficiency in using general lab tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Basic programming skills in C/C++. Python is a plus.
