Staffmark is proud to partner with a respected company in West Monroe, LA, to hire an experienced Manual Machinist. This is a direct hire position offering stability, excellent benefits, and the opportunity to grow your skills in a professional environment.

Pay: $20.00/hour

Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

What You'll Do:



  • Set up, operate, and maintain manual and CNC machine shop equipment, including lathes, mills, and drill presses
  • Perform machining tasks for both small and large components
  • Create basic CNC programs using the VPS system
  • Ensure equipment runs safely and efficiently, identifying and resolving issues as they arise
  • Follow quality standards and production processes to meet specifications



What We're Looking For:



  • 4+ years of manual machining experience
  • 2+ years of CNC programming experience (preferred)
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
  • Understanding of raw materials, machining processes, and safety procedures
  • Valid driver's license required
