The Director, Creative Design is the steward of Bonterra's design presence, driving continuous innovation while maintaining the highest standards for all design outputs across corporate marketing and Go-To-Market (GTM) programs. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Content & Creative, this role leads the Brand design team, including mentorship and direct management of three designers, including a Lead Designer specializing in video, motion graphics, and front-end website design. The Design Director comfortably balances strategic delegation and hands-on design leadership, ensuring design excellence throughout the company. This role oversees high-impact design projects-such as customer stories, videos, animations, website experiences, the annual impact report, and GTM campaigns-as well as ongoing production and templated work. Key responsibilities include evolving and managing Bonterra's visual identity system, including logo architecture and design systems, ensuring cohesion and flexibility across a growing family of brands. As a Director, Creative Design, you will champion inclusive, accessible design principles, ensuring visual work aligns with Bonterra's values and usability standards. You will collaborate extensively with marketing, content, product, and executive teams to align creative outputs with business goals. This role is pivotal in evolving Bonterra's design language, maintaining a modern, compelling, and effective brand presence across all company initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

What Success Looks Like: Within 6-12 months, success will be measured by enhanced visual quality, accessibility, and consistency across Bonterra's key touch points, successful mentorship and growth of the design team (particularly in video and website design), and strengthened cross-functional relationships. You will have elevated the creative standard of projects like the annual impact report, evolved brand guidelines, refined logo systems, and implemented comprehensive accessibility practices, contributing meaningfully to the continued evolution of Bonterra's brand identity. Compensation The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and in addition to benefits this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses/incentives, and equity. US Base Salary Range: $110,000 - $150,000 with 15% annual bonus Please note that the compensation range and benefits specified in this job posting is applicable to candidates based in the United States.
