Learn more at www.paradymemanagement.com. We are seeking a Cloud Developer in support of upcoming projects with a critical Law Enforcement customer. Candidates must already possess an Active SECRET security clearance to be considered. The person in this role can work onsite in Clarksburg, WV or can work Remotely.
Responsibilities
The Cloud Developer is responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based applications and infrastructure. Key duties include:
Cloud Application Development: Implement cloud-native solutions using AWS or Azure services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPCs, and IAM.
- Infrastructure Automation: Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Ansible, Packer, and AWS CloudFormation to automate deployments and maintain configuration consistency.
- DevOps Practices: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Bamboo to streamline software development and deployment processes.
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Use monitoring and logging tools (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana) to proactively monitor cloud performance, detect anomalies, and troubleshoot issues.
- Security Best Practices: Apply cloud security measures, including network security, data encryption, multi-factor authentication, and integration with services like AWS Security Hub.
- Collaboration: Participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives) and work closely with Product Owners and Product Managers to refine and prioritize the backlog.
Requirements
- Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud development, particularly with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation, and AWS API Gateway).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Strong skills in monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Solid understanding of cloud security best practices, including network security, data encryption, and multi-factor authentication.
- Experience working in an Agile organization using Scrum, Kanban, Jira, Confluence, and SAFe.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Ansible, Packer, and AWS CloudFormation.
- Proficiency in cloud management and optimization, including auto-scaling, load balancing, and secure access controls.
- Ability to design and implement scalable, secure cloud solutions.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively in Agile teams.
- Ability to provide team-specific training as needed.
