POSITION SPECIFICS The Office of Planning, Assessment, and Institutional Research (OPAIR) at Penn State is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Business Intelligence Specialist to join its Data Modeling team. This role is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to collaborate directly with end-users to help build a robust data infrastructure that turns institutional data into actionable insights for decision-makers across the University. This position plays a key role in the development of Penn State's analytical data ecosystem and is critical in supporting the Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) platform. It also contributes to the design and implementation of systems and processes that expand access to OPAIR-curated data across the University. The Data Modeling team specializes in data and metadata modeling, and provides support for the Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) platform. The team is responsible for developing and maintaining strategic reports in OAC and Power BI. Additionally, the team actively contributes to the creation and validation of new data models, subject areas, and reports to address the evolving needs of the institution.
