The Sr Financial Analyst will support the financial planning, and analysis for the Research and Advisory (R&A) business.

What you'll do:

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the annual budget and monthly forecast process. Identify areas of risk and opportunities in budget and forecasts

  • Reporting: Provide Research practice leaders to with timely, mission critical reporting, and present to them when appropriate, to enable fast and effective decision making on personnel and other investments

  • Ad hoc analysis: Provide superior analytical and business support to the R&A Leadership team to ensure they are equipped with insight and analysis to grow their respective practices

  • Process Improvement: Actively seek to improve existing processes, leveraging technology where applicable, in order to save time, increase accuracy, and improve user experience

  • Business Partnership: Support Research leaders and their teams to drive optimal outcomes. Also partner with HR, Recruiting, and related Finance teams.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Business, Finance or Accounting required

  • Advanced degree or certification desired

  • 3-5 years' experience in a financial reporting and analysis capacity

  • Working knowledge of business operations

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Independent thinking and complex problem solving and modeling skills

  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills with the ability to summarize and present meaningful financial data.

  • Must be able to work in a dynamic environment while adapting to changing priorities.

  • Expert in dealing with financial systems

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 76,000 USD - 107,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
