Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Conducting Phase I Environmental Site Assessments in accordance with ASTM International's E1527-21 Standard
  • Providing multi-media environmental compliance services, such as day-to-day environmental guidance to clients and supporting environmental compliance auditing.
  • Preparing environmental compliance reports, including annual air emissions inventory reports, hazardous waste generator's reports, SARA 312 Tier II reports, Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) reports, air permit summary of monitoring and compliance certifications and similar reports.
  • Preparing environmental Plans such as Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWP3s) and Slug Discharge Control Plans.
  • Preparing environmental Permit Applications for industrial wastewater and industrial stormwater discharges, and air emissions sources.
  • Supporting litigation projects in the above areas with support from more senior practitioners.
  • Contributing to the preparation of technical reports, letters, memoranda, specifications and proposals.


Education and Licensure

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental or chemical engineering or related discipline (required)
  • Advanced degree (M.S.) in environmental or chemical engineering (preferred)
  • Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) or similar professional certification in your field (preferred)


Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • At least two (2) years (5+ preferred) of experience working in an environmental consulting or manufacturing or industrial EHS or environmental department, with a working knowledge of industrial processes, and their impacts to the environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)
  • Working knowledge of regulatory requirements related to environmental compliance and/or EHS audits. (required)
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed. (required)
  • Prior experience in environmental consulting. (preferred)
  • Excellent writing and communication skills. (required)
  • Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office products. (required)
  • Valid U.S. driver's license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)
