Watertown, SD

Join our team at Terex Utilities and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated Sr. Financial Analyst to contribute to the Terex team in Watertown, SD.

The Sr. Financial Analyst will be part of the Terex Utilities finance team and be a key business partner to strategy, engineering and supply chain leadership. The position will drive financial analysis and modelling for key strategic initiatives and new products - and develop tracking mechanisms for value-added engineering and supply chain initiatives to ensure planned benefits are being realized. The position will also support the enhancement of our overall operating system through the development of business analytics and dashboards.

What you'll do

  • Support the development and tracking of KPIs in Terex Utilities Operating System and Strategy Reviews
  • Maintain rolling Commercial Forecast and support Risk and Opportunity development
  • Convert complex financial data into impactful insights; build financial models, analyze latest trends and initiatives, and perform ad-hoc modelling as required
  • Manage projects and process improvements across organization
  • Develop tracker for cost savings initiatives and tie impact to product line for profitability reporting
  • Develop insightful models with value drivers and design innovative analytical reporting tools for decision making
  • Share best practices with the Utilities finance team
  • Assist in key strategic projects and other duties as required

What you'll bring

Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in finance with a demonstrated ability to partner with functional and business leaders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or similar field
  • Project management skills and the ability to work across a cross-functional, global organization and to drive process improvements.
  • Excellent financial modelling skills with the proven ability to analyze and present data in a compelling and intuitive format to senior finance and non-finance leadership.
  • Working understanding of internal controls, SOX requirements.
  • Highly proficient user of Excel, PowerPoint and other office tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools. Oracle and OneStream experience preferred.
  • Experience reporting within complex legal entity / multi-currency reporting structures.
  • Ability to build, maintain, and leverage positive business relationships.
  • Self-motivated and can work with little direction on ambiguous assignments.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to work well under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional approach that upholds Terex Way Values.
  • People management experience is preferred.
  • Experience with manufacturing or commercial finance preferred.

The compensation range for this position is $68,000 -$102,000 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
