ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assures the appropriateness of drug therapy and compliance with hospital policies.

• Oversees operations of areas of responsibility.

• Manages human resources in areas of responsibility.

• Participates is the training of pharmacy technicians, residents, students, interns

• Assures the implementation of processes to assure the quality of Pharmacy services.

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital.

EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduate from an accredited college of pharmacy.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION:

• License to practice Pharmacy in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of three (3) years of progressive hospital pharmacy, management, and supervisory experience.
