General Purpose and Scope of Position: The Principal Supplier Relations Analyst plays a key role in driving profitability, accuracy, and operational efficiency by managing rebate programs, processing supplier pricing, maintaining financial tools, and supporting the sales team. This role requires a blend of analytical expertise, attention to detail, and strong communication skills to ensure accurate financial reporting and strategic pricing support.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field. 5 - 10 years of experience in business analysis, pricing, or financial operations. Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SQL; familiarity with Snowflake is a plus. Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally. Demonstrated ability to build relationships, work across functional lines, possess superior interpersonal and communication skills, and influence without authority. Strong presentation skills with an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. Ability to remain detail-oriented with a wide range of responsibilities. Experience with supplier rebate programs is preferred. Prior exposure to systems like Athena and EDI reporting tools is beneficial. A background in the agriculture, manufacturing, or distribution industries is a plus.
Key Responsibilities to lead the following:
Rebate Management and Analysis Track rebate goals in collaboration with the CP Director and Strategy Team. Own the forecast rebates quarterly, mid-year, and end-of-year. Reconcile rebate payments and ensure accurate allocations to sales teams. Coordinate with accounting on price and inventory protection. Maintain strong communication with accounting on rebate-related matters. Price Updates & Supplier Program Processing Ensure accuracy of invoice and net costs. Process new supplier price sheets and update internal pricing systems (PM invoice cost, Manager Master, PM Selling Price Guide). Distribute updated pricing to Athena Financial Tools Development Build dashboards to support sales, operations, and supplier decision-making. Enhance data accessibility and usability. Learn and implement new technologies like Snowflake, SQL, and PowerBI. Reporting & Data Distribution Submit monthly EDI reports to TXKS (Telus AG), AG Data, and Corteva. Manage internal WECO data requests and ensure reporting accuracy. Athena System Oversight Maintain invoice and cost accuracy. Oversee Athena accuracy for rebate-related communications. Manage the Athena system relationship.
Areas of Key Collaboration:
Internal Development & Team Engagement Participate in town halls, training, safety meetings, and company-wide development activities. Sales Team Support Communicate pricing changes and profitability insights to sales and leadership. Respond to inquiries on floor pricing, agency pricing, and program updates.
Compensation and Benefits:
In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $102,800 - $144,020.Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, and retirement plan participation, including an employer contribution of up to 7% into your 401(k).
