We build and sustain collaborative relationships throughout the university to best serve the needs of our student body. The Financial Assistant reports to the Senior Finance Manager as part of the Division of Student Affairs Financial team working closely with departmental leadership in providing financial services. The position is responsible for processing all financial transactions within an assigned portfolio that includes accounts receivable, accounts payable, procurement, coordinating the purchasing card reconciliation process for all departmental purchasing cards, processing expense reports, purchase orders, journal entries, and redistributions, paying invoices and reconciling purchase orders. The Financial Assistant also ensures departmental compliance with all relevant university financial policies, maintains complete documentation, and serves as liaison with internal financial services partners.
