Description

Purpose:

Responsible for the training, knowledge, compliance and certification of ATI flight crew members. Responsible to uphold Standard Operating Procedures and Safety during any line operations.


Job Functions:

  • Conducting Line Checks as directed with flight crewmembers to ensure desired standards and proficiency are demonstrated.
  • Conducting Operating Experience (OE), SLF (Supervised Line Flying), area checks, ETOPs training, etc., with flight crewmembers
  • Familiarizing crews with the latest operational and training bulletins
  • Suggestions for improvements and safer operations
  • Completing required checks and training forms and forwarding them to Flight Standards and Training.


Position Requirements:



  • Must hold the required certificates and ratings to serve as PIC in revenue service
  • First Class Medical
  • Meet the training and currency requirements to serve as ATI PIC
  • Maintain line currency as a flight crewmember.
  • Demonstrate, initially and at least biennially, to an FAA inspector the ability to conduct a line check in the aircraft


Physical Requirements:



  • Employees are regularly required to, stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard.
  • Comply with ATI attendance requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
