- Performs diverse (simple to complex) equipment setup and process adjustments, assembly, test, troubleshooting, repair, and packaging of electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical products to prescribed quality and production standards and by ISO procedures.
- Supports production team effort with advanced skills.
- Manufactures products using visual aids, wiring lists, blueprints, and written and verbal work instructions and procedures.
- Uses hand, pneumatic, and power tools, small to large machinery, material handling equipment, and computer-run equipment in the job performance.
- Moves parts and materials as needed to maintain an orderly material flow.
- Conducts quality inspections consistently throughout the assembly process using testing and visual inspections.
- Rotates between operations within a work cell and between work cells and departments. Prepares work cell or department records.
- Uses manufacturing system to replenish components, check component availability, look up BOMs and routings, report production, troubleshoot transactions, analyze capacity, and investigate process improvements.
- Uses specific support software tools for labor analysis, data gathering, cell status board (CSB), data analysis, and graphing.
- Notifies appropriate personnel if the process/method is out of compliance.
- Performs on-the-job training of other production operators.
- Performs simple to complex setups, product, equipment, and process adjustments.
- Support assignments on analyzing specific work area practical capacity, quality, cost issues, and improvement opportunities.

Required Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience building various products or processes.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Ability to comprehend written and spoken English to understand training/direction and interpret assembly, test, and equipment documentation.
- Must be able to work from visual aids, assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, ISO work instructions, and test documentation.
- Ability to function and contribute in a team environment.
- Ability to perform precision adjustments and above-average care in the assembly of products.
- Able to work with a high concentration level to ensure work accuracy.
- Ability to make assembly decisions based on the results of previous operations.
- Must be able to follow complex documentation to produce the product.
- Ability to perform advanced rework and repair involving fault troubleshooting and complex recovery steps.
- Ability to recognize and analyze non-conforming support processes (metric measurement, ERP, and administrative) and implement corrective actions.
- Trained or certified in specific advanced skills such as welding, high voltage circuit wiring, machine, or process troubleshooting.
- Must be able to perform specific tasks using assigned software tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CSB, and Datamatics.
- Advanced skills in non-product build processes, such as analysis of workcell capacity, quality, or cost issues.

- Ability to lift and transfer 25 lbs and standard strength requirements.
