Job Summary:

Aleron is seeking a diligent and proactive Corporate Legal Administrator to join its corporate Legal Department. This is an excellent opportunity to thrive in a dynamic and inspiring work environment. The Corporate Legal Administrator is responsible for working with the Legal Department to assist with administrative responsibilities, ensuring timeliness in filings and reporting and organizing projects and tasks associated with the department. Responsibilities include overseeing the Company's corporate books and operations, jurisdictional reports and licenses, litigation management, expense tracking, and other required designations and registration. For applicants interested in the law, additional training is available regarding the overall legal practice.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Complete and maintain corporate compliance filings, state reports, and other licenses
  • Gather information for litigation activities and court/attorney demands and reporting requirements while also generating reports
  • Work with General Counsel and General Counsel to prepare, create, and draft reports, letters, memos, forms, checks, and correspondence deriving from the Legal Department
  • Work with General Counsel to develop training presentations for staff regarding legal employment-related operations and ensure/track that the training is conducted with affected staff
  • Database development and maintenance for tracking of legal documents, process, and forms
  • Facilitate all department mailings and courier requests
  • Maintain customer, vendor, and other legal files
  • Undertake special projects as assigned or initiated as well as various other administrative duties as required
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Prior Legal Secretary Experience
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite

Preferred:

  • Recent graduation from a four-year program or at least one year of experience in an administrative or legal secretary role
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication abilities
  • Proven prior experience working independently in a deadline driven environment
Physical Demands, Work Environment, and Travel:
  • This role operates in a modern, hybrid work environment, utilizing technology such as laptops, video conferencing tools, cloud-based applications, and collaborative platforms. Flexibility for remote work is supported, while in-office settings may still involve the use of standard office equipment like computers, telephones, and printers.
  • The physical demands described here are representative of those required for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While carrying out job duties, the employee must regularly be able to speak clearly and hear effectively to communicate with others. The role also frequently requires standing, walking, using hands for fine motor tasks, and reaching with arms.
