Position Purpose
This position assists instructors by preparing course materials, managing technical components of instruction (including support for Canvas), and holding office hours to provide students with additional academic guidance. In addition to this vital teaching support, the postbac also plays a key role in faculty research-particularly among our human geography faculty-by contributing to projects that benefit from flexible, part-time assistance. This dual contribution to teaching and research makes the postbac role uniquely well-suited to the structure and needs of our department.

Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs Exp Bachelors or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree with a major in geography or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Competent in basic quantitative analytical methods, procedures and techniques
  • Ability to work independently and to apply good judgment.
