Business Transformation Manager

Job Summary:

The Business Transformation Manager is responsible for participation during the Pre-sales and Business Transformation phases of BDO System Integration projects. The Manager works as part of a team to prepare and conduct product demonstrations for the Dynamics 365 business applications, assists in preparation of proposals, and participates in Business Transformations Sessions that provide process engineering and requirements gathering at the start of our system implementation projects. Our goal in business transformation is to help our clients determine best practices and efficient processes in which to conduct day-to-day operations for all functional areas. The Business Transformation Manager is a conduit between business process owners and executives at the client and the BDO delivery team to ensure the application meets the agreed requirements.

Job Duties:



  • Leads sessions with the Sales teams from BDO and Microsoft to understand the high-level scope of a potential engagement
  • Prepares for and conducts product demonstrations
  • Assists in the preparation of budgetary estimates for projects of all sizes, in collaboration with the delivery team and prospective client, as part of a pre-sales team
  • Assists in preparation of the project SOWs
  • Supports Executive Alignment and Business Transformation workshops with clients and prospective clients
  • Creates process catalog and maps for key business processes
  • Comprehends each current state process and guides the client in the determination of the optimal future state process, according to BDO's BT methodology
  • Works as a member of the Business Transformation team to collect process requirements and enhancement opportunities for what the future state process must include
  • Works as part of a team to determine the general size and complexity of each process in scope for the project
  • Works with the Delivery Manager and Technical Solutions Architect to provide estimates for the future phases of the project
  • Participates in the continuing solution delivery including roles such as delivery lead or engagement manager for a project
  • Maintains an ongoing positive relationship with client stakeholders
  • Other duties as required


Supervisory Responsibilities:



  • Supervises project teams during transformation workshops and assessments


Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Education:



  • Bachelor's degree AND five (5) or more years of industry experience with Business Application implementations, required; OR
  • High School Diploma/GED AND six (6) or more years of industry experience with Business Applications implementations, required


Experience:



  • Six (6) or more years of experience preparing and conducting product demonstrations during the pre-sales process, required
  • Three (3) or more years general functional knowledge within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 application for all application areas, required
  • Four (4) or more years of experience in implementing business process improvements, required
  • Four (4) or more years of experience implementing ERP, HCM or CRM Product, required
  • Three (3) or more years of experience preparing or reviewing statements of work for implementation projects, preferred
  • Client facing best practice consulting experience, preferred


License(s)/Certification(s):



  • Certification within one or more of the following technologies, preferred: Dynamics 365 Finance, Dynamics 365 Supply Chain, Dynamics 365 Commerce, Dynamics 365 Architecture, Project Management


Software:



  • Experience with one (1) or more of the following solutions, required:

    • Dynamics 365
    • NetSuite
    • Oracle
    • SAP
    • Infor

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, required
  • Azure DevOps experience, preferred

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.

National Range: $127,000 - $189,000
Maryland Range: $127,000 - $189,000
NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $127,000 - $189,000
