Overview

Amyx, Inc. is seeking a full-time, on-site IT Contracts Analyst with prior government acquisition, contract, and procurement (e.g., 1102) experience to support a federal civilian customer's Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). This role requires proven experience understanding full life-cycle acquisitions and procurement in order to aid federal customer in coordinating, planning, and ensuring compliance with contracts at a pre-award, evaluation, and post-award status.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a wide range of federal IT contracting experience and possess the ability to independently plan and support multiple ongoing acquisitions alongside federal customer(s). This includes navigating acquisitions for systems, services, or products where limited or no precedent exists, requiring sound judgment, innovation, and knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices.



Responsibilities

    Provide direct acquisition and contract management support to Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs) within the OCIO, helping them navigate contract compliance to ensure mission success.
  • Assist in evaluating internal acquisition and procurement processes, including alignment with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Federal Information Technology Acquisition Reform Act (FITARA), and Cybersecurity Supply Chain Risk Management (C-SCRM) requirements.
  • Identify and generate areas for process improvement and make actionable recommendations to federal leadership.
  • Develop and maintain best practices, process guidance, and supporting presentation materials.
  • Support the operation and upkeep of knowledge repositories, ensuring processes are current and packages are efficiently coordinated for review and approval
  • Support to special interest groups, such as Communities of Practice
  • Must have the ability to communicate accurate information


Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study with at least 3 years of acquisition and procurement experience
  • Strong knowledge of the FAR and the Federal Acquisition/Procurement lifecycle.
  • Ability to review government contract file documentation for compliance with FAR and agency-specific acquisition and procurement policies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear guidance and actionable documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, customers, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Q clearance (TOP SECRET equivalent)

Desired:

  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Previous warranted Contracting Officer (KO) or COR with federal IT experience
  • Experience with FITARA implementation and reporting processes
  • Familiarity with Cybersecurity Supply Chain Risk Management (C-SCRM) requirements
  • Experience with PRISM
  • Acquisition-related certification (e.g., FAC-C, DAWIA, or equivalent)
  • Ability to develop training materials or lead knowledge-sharing sessions related to acquisition best practices
