The Enterprise Analytics & Innovation Director will lead the company's data and AI strategies, creating efficiency, knowledge, and ultimately insight through advanced analytical methods and machine learning technologies. In addition, this role will lead the innovation processes of the company intended to continuously improve and enhance both our business functions (our processes) and our professional practice offerings (our products). The Enterprise Analytics & Innovation Director will report directly to the COO and work with the Management Team, Leadership Team, and other senior company leaders to assure the work of the Enterprise Analytics & Innovation Director and their team seamlessly and elegantly supports sanctioned organizational goals and aspirations. What You Will Be Doing:
- Enterprise Analytics: Empower with insight. Make analytics a seamless, second-nature part of leadership and management decision-making-strategic and operational.
- Build a modern, scalable analytics environment that supports Leadership Reporting Manager Reporting and Need-Specic Analysis
- Translate ERP, CRM, and ancillary system data into clear, timely, and trusted knowledge and insights
- Promote data-driven decision habits across project reviews, planning meetings, and executive discussions
- Lead the AI Core Team working group to advance the deployment of AI across the company with the overarching goal of creating an ethical, secure, and insightful AI system to serve the needs of the Company
- Enterprise Analytics: Enable with Process. Design the systems, workows, and automation that streamlines work, reduces process friction, and allows team members to focus on their highest value activities.
- Identify high-friction, manual, or error-prone workows and redesign them for automation and efficiency
- Partner with operational and technical leaders to integrate AI-assisted and AI- enhanced processes as desired and appropriate throughout our systems
- Build t-to-purpose technical infrastructure to support smart automation
- Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
- Innovation: Encourage Future Focused Company Posture and Culture. Assure company leadership is focused on the long-term possibilities of the future as related to technology's evolving trends and tools.
- Stay abreast of current technology-based trends and tools
- As deemed appropriate, necessary, or desired, contribute to the development of new internal workows and systems by directly assisting in their development through design and program coding
- Regularly brief executive leadership on emerging technologies that may be benecial to the company
- Lead and facilitate a company "Kitchen Table" collaboration team with the purpose cutting edge ideation.
- Innovation: Drive the BMI "Cycle of Innovation". Assure the mechanisms and systems necessary to ideate, vet, formulate, and distribute helpful internal processes and industry best products are robust and effective.
- Lead both process (business focused) and product focused (practice focused) ideation teams
- Vet ideas to establish their usefulness to the business through engagement of company leadership and selected SMEs
- Lead and contribute to the teams developing and formulating sanctioned ideas into functioning workows and programs
- Develop appropriate plans, training, and communications to distribute nal products both internally and externally as appropriate
- Collaborate with company executive, strategy, and business development leaders to ideate, develop, and distribute company differentiators intended to maintain and enhance the company's competitive advantage within our geographic markets and service offerings
- Team Development and Collaboration: Enact with People. Build the team, capabilities, and culture needed to make analytics and innovation an integral and sustainable part of how the rm grows, adapts, and operates.
- Build an effective and value-generating Analytics team, identifying and coordinating internal talent already doing analytics-adjacent work and recruiting new team members
- Lead efforts to cultivate role-appropriate data literacy across the rm
- Serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership, helping shape long-term innovation strategy and guiding growth initiatives
- Lead the internal company Innovation teams tasked with overseeing the development and implementation of innovative strategies
- Cultivate relationships with helpful internal and external SMEs to increase efficiency and effectiveness
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in data science, IT or business-related field. Master's degree in data science or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience.
- 5 years or more of progressive experience in developing and delivering enterprise level analytics and process innovations
- 5 years or more experience in team development, leadership, and management
- Programming language capabilities in Python, SQL, Power BI, and MS Fabri
- Experience in data warehouses and data lake architecture and development
- Working knowledge of business financial operations and metrics a plus General knowledge in related software (i.e. MS Excel and Word)
- Proven team development and leadership skills
- Requires a Driver's License or Public Transportation as may travel to various facilities and job sites
Salary Range: $175,000 - $225,000 depending on years of experience and credentials Bolton & Menk is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to specific geographic location.
