Under the direction and supervision of the PACE Operations Manager, and with a dotted line to the PACE Center Manager, the Health Information Tech is responsible to maintain the integrity of the electronic health record so that it is available to those who require and are authorized to access it, in accordance with policies and procedures of Empath Health/Suncoast PACE.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
1. Must have medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations before having direct participant contact.
3. Must have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance and have means of transportation.
4. Knowledge of Suncoast PACE Policies & Procedures.
5. Strong clerical and computer skills
6. Experience working with Outlook and Excel; experience in electronic health record systems preferred.
7. Excellent organizational skills.
8. Accurate and detail oriented.
9. Able to work in close proximity to others in a team environment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience: Three years experience in Medical Records/Health Information preferred.
