The Team Leader is responsible and accountable for the continuous safe and efficient operations and/or maintenance of an assigned functional area of responsibility. Provides leadership, coaching, counseling, advising, and teaching to others through day-to-day contact. Directs, monitors, and evaluates the performance of direct reports within the reporting organization. Prepares, controls and administers budgets to achieve maximum business results relating to overall performance, cost efficiency and reliability. Develops JSA and other safety compliance documents. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degreed candidates must have five (3) years of experience in progressively responsible assignments, demonstrating success in both technical and supervisory positions within power plant operations
- Non-degreed candidates must have ten (5) years of experience in progressively responsible assignments, demonstrating success in both technical and supervisory positions within power plant operations.
- Successful experience participating in and managing work team activities.
- Proficient personal computer skills including CMMS, Excel, Word and Access.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Results oriented, self-motivated, and able to work with limited direct supervision.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervises and trains the activities of electrical personnel engaged in the maintenance and repair of electrical equipment, systems and components with an emphasis on Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS).
- Environmental regulatory planning pertaining to emissions such as RATA, SBS compliance H2SO4, and Particulate Matter (PM) testing.
- Experience with CFR 40 part 60 and part 75 environmental regulations.
- Analyzes and solves problems and assists maintenance personnel with installation, maintenance, controls and repairs of electrical equipment. Develop solutions to correct chronic reliability issues that require detailed troubleshooting, high-risk JSAs, or RCA.
- Directs contractors when required to maintain and repair electrical and mechanical equipment, systems and components.
- Interprets specifications, drawings, diagrams and schematics for all electrical and mechanical instruments and control equipment, systems and components.
- Recommends equipment, systems and components modifications and upgrades to enhance operations and achieve continuous improvement and performance standards.
- Works with Resource Planning Team to develop and maintain preventative and corrective maintenance programs; executes work orders.
- Develop scopes and specifications for contract work. Directs contractors when required to maintain and repair electrical equipment, systems and components.

- Ability to support a 24 x 7 operation
