Summary Responsible for managing the risks associated with Secondary Marketing including pipeline and interest rate risk management, pricing, pricing distribution, pricing policy development and administration, hedging, trading and loan sales to maximize profitability. Manager/Director's primarily responsible for managing the risks associated with Secondary Marketing including pipeline and interest rate risk management, pricing, pricing policy administration, hedging, trading, and loan sales to maximize profitability. The candidate will evaluate current methods for managing risk and Secondary Marketing operational processes and makes recommendations, and will be responsible for loan sales including servicing retained, servicing released, correspondent investor AOT/DTs, Agency whole loan cash sales, co-issue transactions, and specified pools; including issuing Fannie, Freddie, and Ginnie securities. The ideal candidate should have 5 - 10 years secondary marketing experience, experience issuing Fannie, Freddie, and Ginnie securities, and a solid knowledge of pricing structures and interest rate risk management. Essential Function Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the Bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules, regulatory and compliance regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Daily production of Pricing for Residential Lending,and management of risk associated with market movement. * Develop Pricing Policy and Administration of Policies. * Develop and manage rate lock function for various channels, including Retail and Correspondent. * Develop and manage investor relationships to facilitate growth of Residential Lending business. * Manage and own vendor relationships with Mortgage Insurance companies, pricing engines and other vendors. * Interact daily with Treasury to manage portfolio vs. salable strategy. * Manage Gain on Sale (GOS) to established budget. * Develop Servicing Released vs. Retained strategy in conjunction with Senior Management. * Consult on the development of Bank mortgage servicing capabilities, including regulatory and compliance issues, and overall development of a servicing retained strategy. * Develop, publish and maintain reporting concerning REsidential Lending production and performance metrics. * Manage loan sale strategy and administration. * Develop strategy for securitization of loan product vs. whole loan cash sales. * Manage Secondary Marketing Department staffing including Loan Shipping function. * Develop staffing model for Secondary Marketing to facilitate growth of Residential Lending business. * Recruit and mentor staff as needed.
