The Train Control Engineering Intern role is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. You will become part of an energetic team that boasts a diverse range of experience in APMs (Automated People Movers). The focus of this role is on the testing environment for and system development of the TCMS (Train Control Management System). As a Train Control Engineering Intern, you will be working with our team of engineers on a daily basis to setup test environments on a test bench, support project specific tasks, prepare user documentation, and other tasks related to project activities.

Key Responsibilities



  • Review, update, and complete documentation for TCMS-related software and the test bench.
  • Assist in test bench troubleshooting.
  • Identify and advise on appropriate development solutions to comply with objectives.
  • Participate in different phases of the TCMS product (analysis, design, development, and deployment).
  • Provide support for resolving outstandingissues in conjunction withmanufacturing.



Required Profile



  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Organizational and time management.
  • Enrolled in a 4-year program and have completed at least 2years of a major in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.


  • Software development experience (classroom experience is acceptable).
  • Classroom experience with C# or C++ preferred.
