Position Summary: THE COMPANY is seeking an AI Operations Specialist to support the operational reliability and continuous improvement of its AI systems and data pipelines. This role is central to ensuring the integrity, performance, and availability of critical AI services used across various departments. Ideal candidates will bring MLOps expertise, cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP), and hands-on knowledge of data pipeline orchestration tools like Airflow or Prefect. What You Need to Bring to the Table/Required Qualifications 3+ years in IT operations, with 1+ years supporting AI/ML or data engineering systems. Hands-on MLOps experience in production environments. Proficiency with data pipeline orchestration tools: Apache Airflow, Prefect. Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP. Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, containerization, monitoring, and security practices. Familiarity with Spark, Kafka, and other distributed processing tools. Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (certifications preferred) What You'll Be Doing/Responsibilities: System Monitoring & Incident Management (35%) Monitor performance and health of AI systems and data pipelines. Respond to incidents, perform diagnostics, and implement emergency fixes. Coordinate with cross-functional technical teams for high-priority issues. Operational Support & Maintenance (25%) Handle model refreshes, system patches, pipeline maintenance, and user access control. Ensure minimal disruption during scheduled changes and updates. Performance Optimization (20%) Analyze and enhance the performance of AI systems and data flows. Identify model drift and implement corrections as needed. Tune resources and optimize workflows for efficiency. Continuous Improvement & Automation (10%) Automate repetitive operational tasks to increase reliability and reduce manual workload. Evolve internal MLOps practices and tooling in response to real-time needs. Documentation & Knowledge Management (10%) Maintain SOPs, system documentation, and runbooks.
