Job Description

Danfoss is currently hiring an Application Engineer at our Maumee, OH location.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

Performs engineering and technical tasks involving the application of engineering knowledge and the development of solutions pertaining to Fluid Conveyance products and customers with thermal management applications requiring liquid cooling methods. Duties: lay out multiple projects and manage timelines and milestones appropriately that meet customer's expectations; translate customer requirements into internal designs using existing company design standards; establish BOMs, calculate component costs, and perform competitive analysis to determine market price levels; develop strong communication contacts with product management, sales, manufacturing, and customer service; identified within and outside the team as a product and technical resource; lead and initiate process improvements to introduce new methods to improve current processes and procedures; contribute to improvements in technical or project management processes.

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical/Materials, or Industrial Engineering.
  • 3 years' experience in project managment involving development of new hydraulic hose and/or connector products.
  • 2 years' minimum experience with ERP (e.g., MfgPro, SAP).
