This is your chance to architect and lead and end to end materials function during a time of transformation and growth! Minimum Qualifications:
Leadership & People Development: Proven experience (5+ years) leading and developing professional teams within a manufacturing environment. Planning & Materials Management: Strong working knowledge of demand forecasting, capacity planning, production scheduling, inventory control, and material flow systems (e.g., kanban, supermarkets, pull systems). Lean & Operational Excellence: Experience managing materials personnel within a lean manufacturing environment, with a solid understanding of materials strategy and continuous improvement principles. Strategic & Cross-functional Influence: Demonstrated ability to lead strategic projects, collaborate cross-functionally, and drive service-level improvements through supplier engagement and internal alignment. Financial & Business Acumen: Experience with budgeting, cost control, and balancing working capital needs against service performance. What You Will Be Doing: Inventory Leadership: Manage inventory accuracy, reduce excess and obsolete stock, and balance working capital needs with service level targets in a lean manufacturing environment. Plan for Production Readiness: Own and improve the production planning and scheduling process to ensure operational readiness and capacity alignment with customer demand. This includes modeling and interpreting demand signals, often with limited visibility. Team Leadership and Development: Lead a team of materials professionals( salary and hourly) -establishing clear expectations, building capabilities, and fostering a strong culture of accountability and support. Data-Driven Problem Solving: Use dashboards, performance metrics, and root cause analysis to identify operational gaps, prioritize improvement efforts, and track measurable outcomes across SQDC dimensions.
