Astrion LLC is seeking an entry level Launch Security Operations Specialist to support the new Twilight contract for the Office of Space Launch (OSL)

Launch Security Operations Specialist (LSOS-I)

Clearance Required: TS/SCI
Location: El Segundo, CA
Position Type: Full-Time | Entry-Level

The LSOS-I is an entry-level security specialist supporting all aspects of launch-related security operations. This includes spacecraft (SV) transport and processing, facility access control, emergency preparedness, and monitoring of launch base security systems. The role involves close coordination with interagency partners and compliance with NRO launch security policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support day-to-day security operations across launch and payload processing facilities.

  • Assist with access control, badging, and personnel security procedures.

  • Monitor security, life safety, and facility control systems.

  • Participate in emergency response drills and disaster preparedness exercises.

  • Perform reviews of operational procedures related to security and safety.

  • Provide Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) training support as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • General understanding of:

    • Launch operations and scheduling.

    • Computer-based security and access control systems.

    • Life safety systems, alarms, and emergency response protocols.

    • Security operations and visitor control processes.
