The Neurointerventional Radiology APP will provide procedural and clinical care services to adult patients at the University of Minnesota Medical Center (UMMC) and the M Health Cinics and Surgery Center (CSC) in Minneapolis, and Fairview Southdale Hospital and the M Health Fairview Neuroscience clinic in Edina. The PA or NP is an experienced member of the health care team who uses advanced practice skills with the supervision/collaboration of licensed physicians to provide comprehensive health care services to patients. The Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner (APP) engages in independent decision making about health care needs and provides health care services to individuals. Provides physical and psychological health assessments, patient education and counseling, orders and interprets diagnostic procedures, and manages acute and chronic disease conditions ensuring continuity of care for individuals in the communities served. This APP will join a team of neurointerventional specialists (endovascular surgical neuroradiologists) dedicated to the advancement of minimally invasive methods to treat patients with neurovascular disease. The role will include performing image guided procedures, as well as inpatient/outpatient consultation, and support of general neurointerventional work tasks. Core responsibilities will include working closely with the neurointerventional specialists to perform image guided procedures such as cerebral angiograms in the treatment of stroke, spinal disease, and neurovascular disease. Clinical responsibilities will include periprocedural assessments, monitoring, consultation, patient and family education. There is an opportunity for outpatient consultations in the CSC and/or Edina Neuroscience clinics several days per month. In This Role, You Will:

The full-time salary range is $125,759 - $155,660 commensurate with practice experience and may also include incentive compensation or additional specialty-specific compensation components.
