Director of IT | Cloud Hosting

As a Director of IT at Epicor, you will lead a global team of IT managers and technical professionals, driving the strategic direction of our cloud and hosting services. You will oversee infrastructure operations' planning, implementation, and optimization, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across our environments. This role is central to our transformation journey, including large-scale migrations from colocation centers to public cloud platforms.

What you will be doing:

• Developing and executing the strategic vision for cloud and hosting services in alignment with Epicor's broader technology roadmap.
• Leading and mentoring a global team of IT managers, engineers, and architects, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Overseeing the design, deployment, and management of cloud infrastructure and hosting environments, including web servers, databases, and application servers.
• Driving automation initiatives using tools like PowerShell, Terraform, Azure DevOps, and GitHub to improve operational efficiency.
• Managing budgets for cloud and hosting services, optimizing costs while maintaining service quality.
• Handling customer escalations with professionalism and urgency, ensuring a strong focus on customer experience.
• Monitoring and alerting across ERP environments, ensuring system reliability and performance.
• Staying current on emerging technologies and trends in cloud computing to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
• Reporting regularly to senior leadership on infrastructure performance, risks, and strategic initiatives.

What you will likely bring:

• 11+ years of progressive IT experience with demonstrated success in infrastructure leadership.
• 6+ years managing and developing multi-discipline teams, preferably with international scope.
• 5+ years of specialized experience in cloud infrastructure, hosting services, or ERP environments.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience); Master's degree preferred.
• Strong background in project management, customer experience, and large-scale operations leadership.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred), automation tools (PowerShell, Terraform), and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
• Deep understanding of information systems standards, monitoring, alerting, and best practices.
