THE ROLE:

The Senior Financial Analyst is a critical role in the success of the business. This role will partner with the Strategic Silicon Solutions Business Unit (S3 BU) leadership and their staff to provide financial analysis (e.g. profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow, etc.) to influence decisions that enable the business to effectively plan and deliver results.

THE PERSON:

The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with a results-driven approach, high sense of teamwork, ability to handle multiple topics at once, excellent communication skills, positive outlook, and the ability to speak up and make recommendations in a fast-moving environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own the weekly forecasting process for product sales and consolidated reporting for the S3 BU finance group
  • Engage with cross-functional teams (including finance, accounting, supply chain, and operations) to drive the financial consolidation process for the Long Range Plan, Annual Operating Plan, and quarterly financial forecast including revenue, margin, operating expenses, and inventory
  • Consolidate / Coordinate quarterly close activities with finance team
  • Prepare accounting journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for month-end close in addition to financial reporting for both external reporting and operational reviews
  • Load financial forecasts into SAP and oversee spend for business unit product costs
  • Execute updates to deliverables in real-time within a fast-paced environment
  • Identify and implement process improvements to the S3 BU financial forecasting model including automation, business process simplification, and productivity enhancements to improve the quality and accuracy of financial forecasting and reporting
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis proactively and present findings to senior leadership
  • Follow all internal controls, regulatory policies, procedures, privacy, security standards in accordance with company, legal, and regulatory requirements

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Finance professional with experience in a multinational, high-tech environment
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively solve problems
  • Strong communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
